The power in letting go

Growing your business means making more money without YOU doing more work.

In order to grow, you have to let your team lead which means letting go of that daily to-do list. The special projects, “your” clients and your business day-to-day as a whole. If you don’t learn how to let go, you’ll never have a successful EXIT plan and even worse, you’ll stay in the weeds FOREVER.

As a business owner, we do it ALL. We wear all of the hats and exhaust ourselves until we have had enough and there’s nothing left to give. When I decided to start letting go of day-to-day duties inside my retail store, I realized quickly that I was the only thing standing in the way of building a team that could be empowered to help me grow a company to be proud of. There’s no way you, as the owner can do it alone. You are only so smart, so strong and have so much time in one day. Once you let go and let your team shine, you will see your company flourish in a way that won’t happen with you alone. Yes, letting go is hard, but what’s harder is trying to have freedom and a life outside of work and everything falling apart.
